With NTEP approval, Highland approved balances are suitable for use in labs or numerous commercial operations. Highland contains practical features that simplify lab work; bioscience research; pharmaceutical testing; jewelry measurement; or any legal-for-trade weighing application. The Highland approved balance is powered by AC adapter or rechargeable battery, so it operates in settings where electricity is not readily available. A built-in security slot for a Kensington-type lock and cable helps keep the balance safe. Other features include multiple weighing units; RS-232 and USB interfaces; and capacity tracker.
